FAQ

When are you available?

I'm typically available to meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 10am-6pm. I have some spots available around lunchtime (noon) and several afternoon spots available. My evening spots are close to being filled. You can reach out to me directly for my most up-to-date availability.

Where do sessions take place?

I meet with most clients in person at my office which is located inside of Dahlia Counseling Collective.*See below for the address.*

I am also available to meet virtually through a HIPAA compliant platform to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! I am accepting new clients currently. If you are interested in starting services, please email me or use the contact information below or fill out the contact form.

*Email is the quickest and easiest way to contact me!*

How long does each therapy session last? And how frequently will we meet?

Therapy sessions are typically 55 minutes long. We have the option of meeting for 45 minutes if this is preferred. We can always discuss more about your scheduling preferences through email or during a 15-minute consultation call.

I recommend that new clients begin meeting with me weekly or bi-weekly to build rapport and gain momentum with our work. Monthly sessions are used for clients who have worked with me for a while and are only needing occasional check ins.

Do you take insurance?

I am currently in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Anthem BC/BS. I will update my website and Psychology Today profile with any insurance changes.

See the services page for my self-pay rates.

*For out-of-network clients, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance in order to help with reimbursement.

Do you offer sliding scale options?

I have a limited number of hardship and sliding scale spots. However, they are currently full at this time, so I am not able to offer sliding scale options to new clients. I will update my website and Psychology Today profile to indicate when I have a hardship or sliding scale spot available.
